Product Return/Cancellation Policy
A client may at any time before dispatching cancel an order with a full refund.
A client may return any product procured within two weeks from delivery, for a full refund, providing that the product is returned in the original packing and in the same condition as it was delivered.
If the client returns the product after delivery, the original delivery cost as well as the return delivery cost will be at the cost of the client, but the cost of the product (providing it is returned in the original state) will be credited to the client account as a refund.
The client must send a return notice via e-mail to metashopreturns@metacom.net and ship the product to the following address: Metacom (Pty) Ltd, 6 Inyoni Street, Ndabeni, 7405, South Africa.
The product returned must include a printed copy of the Metacom invoice to the client as well as the return notice which was sent to Metacom via e-mail.
Upon receipt of the product with the relevant invoice, in the original state, Metacom will process a refund to the client’s credit card.
Warranty
All hardware supplied by Metacom will carry a 12-month warranty.
The warranty date will start on the date of delivery.
A client may return a product to Metacom for a warranty repair during this 12-month period.
It will be the customer’s responsibility to provide the product to Metacom at Metacom’s head office at the customer’s expense.
Products returned, must include a copy of the client invoice as well as a description of the fault.
Warranty repairs can be sent to: Metacom (Pty) Ltd, 6 Inyoni Street, Ndabeni, 7405, South Africa.
Providing that the product is in warranty, Metacom will provide the customer with a refurbished product at no charge.
The refurbished product will be dispatched within seven days of receipt of the faulty hardware.
The shipping cost of the return of the hardware will be for the customer’s account.
Metacom warranty will exclude any product failure caused by the following:
Installation that is non-compliant to Metacom’s installation instructions.
Damage caused by an electrical surge or incorrect electrical input.
Physical damage to the product caused by fire, water or incorrect handling of the product (including hard physical impact).
Service Cancelations (excluding services with cancellation terms)
If the service does not have a fixed term, a client and Metacom may at any time cancel a service, by executing the cancellation on the MetaSHOP client portal.
The notice period of such cancellation will be for the remainder of the billing cycle, meaning that the client will be able to use that service until the 25th of the relevant month in which the cancellation was received.
On the 25th of the month after the cancellation is received, the service will be terminated.
Rental or Service with fixed minimum term cancellations
A client may only cancel a rental or service with term after the expiry of the initial agreement term.
The notice of such cancellation will be for the remainder agreement term, up to the last billing cycle in the term, meaning that the client will be able to use that service until the 25th of the relevant month after the initial term has expired and the cancellation was received.
No credit will be processed for any cancellation of a rental or term services.
The client must terminate the service on the MetaSHOP client portal.
